This procedure can also be done in two ways:

Internal Ultrasonic: This is when the ultra sonic probes are inserted into the body through small incisions. The probe then emits ultrasonic vibrations that break up the stubborn fat

External Ultrasonic: This procedure does not require an incision. The ultra sonic vibrations are emitted outside the body through the skin. The downside to this procedure is that it can interfere or muddle the nervous system and can also cause bruises that can lead to scarring.

Recovery Time

Dr. Michael K.Obeng will proivde a compression garment or elastic bandages for the body, the garment will reduce the swelling. Recovery time is subjective to the patient, however, it may take 2 – 3 days for a patient to have a full recovery after the surgery.
