HOW WE DO RIB REMOVAL SURGERY

Rib removal surgery is a very safe procedure that only takes around one to two hours. The surgery is performed while the patient is under general anaesthesia. First, Dr. Michael K. Obeng will create a small incision on the back to allow access to the eleventh and twelfth sets of ribs. The ribs are then separated from the vertebrate and removed from the patient. The incisions will then be closed with sutures.
