Arm Lift & Tightening
An arm lift, also known as a brachioplasty, reduces the excess skin and fat between the underarm and elbow. This procedure transforms your arm into having a more youthful, smoother skin, and also a toned proportionate appearance. This form of body contouring is most useful in individuals who have had significant weight loss.
How We Do It
BENEFITS OF ARM LIFT & TIGHTENING SURGERY
- Improves contour and shape of your upper arm
- Effective at reducing loose, hanging skin of your upper arm
- Develops youthful appearance
- Confidently wear clothes
An Arm lift procedure usually takes two to three hours to perform and requires a general anesthesia.
ARM LIFT & TIGHTENING OPTIONS
There are two types: upper arm lift and mini arm lift. The upper arm lift incision may extend from the armpit to the elbow to minimize the maximum amount of skin. In contrast, a mini arm lift incision is much smaller.
After your surgery, you will be bandaged and given a prescription for the pain. A full arm lift will leave a scar. However, this scar will eventually fade. Patients are able to return to work a week or two after an arm lift surgery. In case of any complications, you can contact Miko Plastic Surgery and we will do our best to guide you to have a safe and comfortable recovery.
